Lacrimi și Sfinți
Lacrimi si Sfinti is an unusual Romanian restaurant with a modern cuisine. 100-year old recipes are reinterpreted and rearranged, lost flavors, invented flavors, all mixed together. Mircea Dinescu rediscovers and reinvents in the kitchen at Lacrimi si Sfinti more than just dishes, he rediscovers and reinvents a national culinary culture which was almost lost, or at the very least, ignored for over a century. Every product in the menu is prepared only with local, organic ingredients: fish caught in the wild, free range birds, the pork and the veal come from small individual farms.
